About the artist

Mari-Liis is a graphic designer and self-taught artist based in Estonia.

She works on both canvas and paper, using mostly acrylics and collage technique, layering each piece and allowing the work to mature organically. Mari-Liis is drawn to the medium of paper - especially matured and paper with printed text on, utilizing it in her collages for her artworks. Her work echoes harmony through muted colours, occasionally incorporating rebellious words, marks, and drips inspired by street art and culture. Making art is a journey of self-discovery and expression for Mari-Liis.

Her work has been showcased at various local venues throughout 2020-2023.
